Dr. Prashanth S. is expertise in Orthopedic Upper Extremity, Hand & Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery, and provides comprehensive care for any problem related to the hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, and arm.
Dr. Prashanth has more than 16 years of experience in Hand and Microvascular Surgery after completing his post-graduate qualification in Orthopedics. Dr. Prashanth has received extensive training in Reconstructive Hand Surgery, Diploma in Microsurgery, Wrist Surgery, and Nerve Surgeries from Europe, and the USA.
Dr. Prashanth’s special interests include Hand trauma, Replantation Surgery, Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery of the upper & lower limbs, Wrist & Small Joint Arthroscopy, Arthroscopic Carpal Tunnel Release, Brachial plexus, and Nerve Surgery, Small Joint Replacement Surgery, and Congenital Deformity Correction Surgery.
Dr. Prashanth S is a member of many professional societies for Hand Surgery and Orthopedic Surgery. He is also a teaching faculty at Hand Surgery Training Courses for young surgeons. His paper on Radial Perforator flaps has been adjudicated as the best paper and won him a medal at the ISSHCON 2012 at Amritsar.
Dr. Prashanth has a keen interest in educating Industrial workers about Hand safety at the workplace. He is a post-graduate teacher in the faculty of Orthopedics and brings with him a strong clinical acumen and a passion for academics and teaching. Dr. Prashanth S has presented his work at several international and national conferences.
